Private jet charter to Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE, and though often overlooked in favour of the glamour of Dubai, it’s got a lot to offer. As with Dubai, it’s got a myriad of five star hotels, restaurants, plenty of shopping malls but also the thrills of Yas Island, home to Ferrari World and the Yas Marina Race track, where, if you time it right, you can watch a Formula 1 race. Get a fast quote from Air Charter Service to charter a private jet to Abu Dhabi and experience it for yourself.
Whilst without the iconic structures the make Dubai’s skyline so recognisable, Abu Dhabi is home to a fair share of luxury hotels, many of which are located out on Yas Island, overlooking the world-famous racing track. Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi is probably the most famous of these, as it actually straddles the track and overlooks the marina, ideal for stays during the F1. In the city itself, both the Shangri-La Hotel Qaryat Al Beri and Jumeirah at Etihad Towers come highly recommended.
Abu Dhabi has no shortage of great restaurants to try out, with a nice mix of Michelin starred eateries and local favourites. Many of the celebrity restaurants you’ll find ensconced within hotels, such as the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill, which you’ll find on the ground floor of the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr. Outside of the hotels, Al Maqam offers a real Arabian experience, with floor level seating, live entertainment and stunning dishes hailing from the Emirates and across Arabia.
For things to do there are of course the bustling malls, sprawling multistorey paradises for those with a love of shopping. Dalma Mall, Yas Mall and Deerfields Mall are the three major malls, with plenty of smaller ones dotted throughout the city. For something a little more traditional, you can take a wander through The Souk, or for an even more authentic experience, visit the Old Souk. Yas Island is the major tourist attraction, home to the Yas Marina circuit, as well as Ferrari World and the vast Yas Mall. There is also a selection of hotels on the island too. Away from the island you’ll find the other big draw of Abu Dhabi, the stunning Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Do bear in mind there is a dress code and behavioural rules for visitors which must be adhered to during your visit.
