Private Jet Charter to Worcester Regional Airport

Worcester Regional Airport was opened in 1927, two years after city officials commissioned a study to examine suitable sites for the city's first airport. By law, Worcester had to transfer ownership of the airport to Massport ( Massachusetts Port Authority) by July 1, 2010, making Massport the owner and operator of the airport. For the period between 2008 and 2009 the airport handled an average of 151 aviation operations a day, split between general aviation, air taxi services and military use.
