Austin Straubel International Airport is a county-owned public-use airport located seven nautical miles southwest of downtown Green Bay, in the village of Ashwaubenon. It is named for Lt. Col. Austin Straubel, the first aviator from Brown County to lose his life in his country's service in 1942. The facility covers a large 2,441 acres and has two concrete runways available which are listed as being in good condition. It carries out an average of 133 flights per day and bases 112 aircraft. The airport also offers several services such as refueling, hangers and tiedowns for storage as well as major airframe repairs and a major power plant service.
