Austin Municipal Airport is located two miles east of Austin’s central business district, in Mower County, in the state of Minnesota. It is a public use airport, owned by the city of Austin. The airport was opened in April 1940 and has no control tower. It covers an area of 278 acres (113 hectare) and features one asphalt runway, which is in good condition.
