Albany Municipal Airport is in fact a small airfield only a few miles from Albany in Linn County, Oregon, United States. The airfield is publically owned and operated and was first established in 1920 under private ownership which was later purchased by the city in the same decade. In 1998, Albany Municipal Airport became the first airport in Oregon to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The airfield was designed by architect Cleo H. Jenkin and bases 58 aircraft on average, running around 62 operations per day despite its remote site. .
