- The Challenger 850 is derived from the CRJ200 airliner. Bombardier began delivering the jet in 2006.
- The aircraft can hold up to 30 passengers, but normally features an executive seating layout for up to 15 people. An extra passenger can be seated in the enclosed lavatory if needed.
- The Challenger 850 can fly between London and Québec, Dubai and Bangkok, and Beijing and Mumbai.
- Its baggage compartment holds around 20 suitcases, allowing for at least one per person in the executive seating layout.
- With customisable interiors and seats that can be modified into beds, the Challenger 850 is perfect for both daytime and nighttime long-haul flights.
- Production of the aircraft ended in 2012 following over 70 deliveries.
Comfortably seating up to 15 passengers and two crew, the Challenger 850 is ideal for long-distance travel. The jet’s impressive range means it can complete non-stop international flights quickly and cost-effectively, making it a popular choice to charter.

It was first delivered in 2006 before production ceased in 2012.
